Data deletion status
When you remove Apex City from your Facebook account and ask Facebook to delete your data, Facebook calls our deletion endpoint and gives you a confirmation code. This page tells you what happened to that request.
No code supplied
Open the link Facebook gave you, or paste your confirmation code into the address bar after ?code=. Codes look like 7QF3KD2P9WXA.
What deletion removes
- Your email, password, display name, avatar, age band and every linked identity, including the Facebook link.
- Your city and all progress, quests, event progress and achievements.
- Friends, alliance membership, gifts, visits, chat messages you wrote, push tokens and settings.
- Every session: the app and the web client are signed out everywhere at once.
What is kept
Purchase and wallet records are retained for up to 7 years because tax and accounting law requires it. They are pseudonymised - tied only to an anonymous id with no name, email or login - and cannot be used to play. Nothing else survives in backups beyond 30 days.
Other ways to delete
You do not need Facebook to erase your account. Use Settings → Account → Delete in the game, or the web deletion page, which works even after you uninstall the app. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
